Your hot plate is not included
The Pele Platta goes over the hot plate you already own. It works with every type of hot plate except glass. If you're buying a new one, size matters for a fully-closed fit:
- ✅ Medium (23" × 13") — fits perfectly, cabinet closes fully
- ✅ Large (23" × 17") — recommended, cabinet closes fully
- ⚠️ Extra-Large (30" × 18") — not recommended, the cover stays about 1" open and heat escapes
